Distinctive menus created by Executive Chef John Zaner are inspired by the freshest seasonal, organic and sustainable ingredients from Hawaii’s local farms and Pacific coastlines which are showcased as brilliantly flavorful, chef-crafted delicacies. These culinary masterpieces are served alongside a world-class selection of fine wines and classic cocktails redefined with innovative mixology and local influence.
Kai Sushi - Kai Sushi, fuses the island’s freshest and finest grade sushi and sashimi with authentic ingredients, sophisticated presentation, featuring an eclectic ambiance and design inspired by the story of the native Hawaiians' arrival across the sea, with hand-carved ceiling beams that recall the shapes of the outrigger canoes. The glowing back of the sushi bar and carved wood columns are inspired by traditional Hawaiian art forms in print. The warm tones of wood, woven grasses, honed plaster and gold-hued stone set a natural tableau for the bright colors of the fresh sushi delicacies. The Terrace - The Terrace restaurant features a plantation-inspired design with a green and gold and textured fabrics to reinforce the connection with the landscape. Slow-moving fans and wood screens illustrate the relaxed pace of island life, a sense of place that is peaceful and verdant. Facing the pool and ocean on the ground level, this venue features direct views of the flowering gardens at the center of the property. There are a series of family-style tables to enhance the sense of gathering. The casual setting is enhanced by an expanded lanai enclosed in glass and by images and architectural details of Maui's plantations. The Terrace is open daily for breakfast. Alaloa Lounge - Named Best Lobby Lounge on the island by the readers of Maui No Ka Oi Magazine, The Alaloa Lounge (formerly The Lobby Lounge) at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua offers an extensive menu of specialty cocktails, domestic and imported beers, premium spirits and signature appetizers and desserts. The Alaloa Lounge also now offers a casual lunch menu. The Alaloa Lounge features live entertainment Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. The Pool Bar & Café - Offers tropical drinks, smoothies, appetizers, sandwiches and salads at the bar or served to the guest's chaise lounge. Twice daily, the pool servers present complimentary fresh Maui pineapple to guests. If you are lounging in the pool, don't worry about being left out; the servers will enter the water fully dressed to serve you. The Beach House - This casual enclave is framed by an idyllic beachfront setting and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, this alfresco dining venue features fresh and flavorful dishes inspired by tastes from local cuisine complemented by a distinctive selection of hand-crafted signature cocktails prepared by our resident mixologists.
